    A poem by Kent Rickerby.

    Waiting.

    A significant day

As the sun wakes the sky

Clouds streak across the horizon with fanfare

As I consider the day ahead of me

What lingers beyond the next hour

As I wait for outcomes beyond my full understanding

I trust my Higher Power to Hold Fast upon my being

And to go before those who have the skills to repair what is amiss within me.

It is my heart that cries with physical murmurings for rest from anguish, past, present and future

Take stock my soul for life in it’s fullness is a blessing beyond compare

And each chapter in my book of life

Captivates as the words leap from the page and I rise to the challenge of a new day.
